For tourists in Italy, the Cinque Terre are often the only place that comes to mind when thinking about the country’s top sights. But while the five little seaside villages between Genoa and Pisa are indeed stunning and make for great day trips, there are far more exciting things to see in Italy than just those picturesque but overrated places.
